Date posted:2015-12-10 | Writer: Angloschool Poland | Email: [email protected]

Angloschool, a well established private language school in Warsaw, has openings for TEFL qualified teachers who have some experience teaching young leaners. The school was founded in 1991 as one of the first private language schools and since then it has grown to become a well recognised school running four centres in Warsaw. We were one of the first Polish schools accredited by EAQUALS (The European Association for Quality Language Services).

In February 2010 we underwent a Ministry of Education inspection, acquiring their accreditation. Angloschool provides high quality English language tuition to students of different age groups: children (4+), teenagers and adults. We offer general English and exam preparation courses as well as a content learning programme of maths and science in English for primary students.

We are seeking communicative, creative and friendly candidates willing to face the challenge of working in a demanding yet allowing for professional development environment. We appreciate experience in teaching children. We require a degree and a TEFL, CELTA or equivalent. Positions at Angloschool are hard work and require commitment. We offer work in a professional and friendly atmosphere and an opportunity to discover Poland. The package includes a contract till the end of June with a possibility of prolonging it in the coming school year, accommodation, medical insurance, a work visa, an induction training and methodological guidance.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Once again, I have struggled to determine the proper order for the engage, study, and activate phases of the lesson. I understand the overall purpose of these phases, but I fail to comprehend the rigidity of the lesson plans demonstrated in the unit. This seems to be a common trend. After each of these mishaps, I have been returning to the reading from unit 3 to review the different phases. There are many ways to plan lessons. Knowing the theory behind the art of teaching bolsters the quality of each lessons. For all the techniques, we need to fully understand the individual student. Knowing lots of ways to teach English keeps my students motivated. I tended to correct students mistakes when it was better not to, from now on I will adopt the way I learned today for my classes.
