Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit we have learnt the many approaches a teacher can adopt to help students learn, but that one of most effective ways of structuring a lesson is based on the Engage-Study-Activate approach. There are many different techniques that can be used in each of the stages. The choice depends on the topic as well as the level of the class. The objective is to make the lessons interesting and help students learn.Unit 1 introduces how the course works. It shows terminology, aims, target groups, objectives, etc. I have learnt that you do not need a specific training in a certain field of business you wish to teach the English language. However, it is important that your students will be able to use the skills that they will learn from you to use their knowledge in their expertise through the medium of the English language.
