Heslington Language Program (HELP!) was founded in 2003 in Tehuacan, Puebla, Mexico. We currently have paid volunteer positions available to teachers who are TEFL / TESOL certified or who are in the process of receiving their Master's or Doctorate Degree. HELP! provides teachers with free accommodation in an apartment or host family situation as well as a living stipend per month. Workload is 25 hours of teaching/week, Monday – Friday, with a maximum of 20 student-per-class. As you teach, other opportunities to travel, sightsee, make friends and get to know Mexico will be the natural by-product of your service. This position provides volunteers with a 4,000 MXN pesos stipend per month to help cover personal costs. For more information, please contact us via e-mail at the address given on the job heading.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit is like the other tenses but in the different this topic tackle about the FUTURE time and I learned from this topic is how to use it properly in the sentences and another reminder and refresh my mind how to understand this future tense. And this topic is more complex areas in English language and this Future tense. And future tense has more forms to understand and how will you share in the class. The first few things I learned were the types of duties or roles that the teacher had to perform in order to be an effective teacher. After that, I learned the advantages and disadvantages both for the teacher and students depending on the setting. If the student is learning one on one then I will have to reconsider many factors, which I will not have to deal with with teaching a group a business students.
