We are looking for dynamic and outgoing teachers with: a Degree; a TEFL, TESOL or CELTA diploma ; at least one years experience with verifiable references, driving licence and computer knowledge. Eu national preferred

Our four schools have been operating for 20 years teaching English to motivated students of all levels and ages, both in one-to-one and group lessons in Naples (Italy) and the surrounding area. As well as courses at our school, we work in close collaboration with the Italian state school system and local companies. The Benedict school here enjoys an excellent reputation being an official Trinity College Examination Centre, and are also part of "The International Benedict School" group. This position is one that includes teaching adults at individual and in collective situations and also children of different ages and at different levels. This unit was about how to teach productive skills: speaking and writing. Similar to teaching receptive skills, the student needs to find some sort of motivation to communicate. Therefore the teacher needs to engage the students with a topic or motivation that will interest them. In the different activities throughout the lesson it is also important to remember when the student needs to show accuracy versus fluency.Learning how to teach is so important as learning the subject we are going to teach. Over the last decades, different methodologies about how to teach have been presented, so I think this unit gives us a good overview of it as also a critical point of view, so we can understand the characteristics of each method and be able to judge what is better for our students regarding their background, culture and life values.
