Our School:
Since its inception in 1995, Sekolah Djuwita (a non-profit organization) has grown to become one of Indonesia�premier National Plus Schools. We currently have 5 campuses situated throughout Indonesia (Batam,Jakarta, Medan, Pekan Baru & Tanjung Pinang) and are proud to have a student population of approximately 5, 000 students. We are accredited by the United States Academic School Districts association and offer our students the opportunity to study an international based curriculum adapted from both the Singaporean and Indonesian education systems.
Our Batam campus presently accommodates 700 students from kindergarten through to senior high school and features two newly completed swimming pools, soccer pitch, basketball and volleyball courts, outdoor play area, science and computer laboratories, school library, fully air-conditioned classrooms and 24 hour security.
Positions:
We are currently seeking to employ teachers for the following positions:
* Primary grade 1 class teacher.
* Primary grade 2 class teacher.
* Middle & high school English teacher.
Job Details:
Primary School. Teachers will be expected to teach a variety of subjects including English, math, health and art.
School hours are from 8.00am ñ ¼¯4.00pm Monday to Friday and teachers are required to teach a minimum of 25 hours during this time. In addition, teachers are expected to adequately prepare for all of their lessons every day.
Middle & High School. Teachers will be responsible for teaching our students all facets of the English language.
School hours are from 8.00am ñ ¼¯5.00pm Monday to Friday and teachers are required to teach a minimum of 25 hours during this time. . In addition, teachers are expected to adequately prepare for all of their lessons every day.
Selection Criteria:
Applicants for these positions must be:
* Under 35 years of age at the time of hire.
* College or university degree holders.
* Citizens of the U.S.A. , Australia , N.Z., Canada or the U.K.
It is expected that teachers applying for these positions will have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience.
Salary & Benefits:
* Rp.10,000,000 - Rp.12,000,000 per month tax free
* Settling in allowance.
* Housing allowance.
* Transportation to and from school.
