I learned the seven most common tenses. They are: the future simple, The future continuous, and the future perfect; The future perfect continuous, be going + infinitive, and the present simple; and the present continuous. I learned the form, usages, and teaching ideas for each tense. I also learned some common errors and mistakes made my students for each tense, which will help me when lesson planning in the future.This unit covers the past tense. It touches on the Past Simple, Past Continuous, Past perfect and Past perfect continuous forms used in the English language. While to me everything is seems to be combined in the past tense, the subtle differences are found in each of the forms. That is what makes it so hard to clearly identify without continuously looking over each from when deciding which form is being worked with.
