Seal Foreign Languages Education Centre is seeking a TEFL qualified teacher for one of our four schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina with minimum 2 years teaching experience and clean driving licence, preferably with a British or an Australian accent. This would be a full time position. The curriculum is provided by the school and classes run Monday to Friday. However, the schedule can be adjusted to the teacher’s preferences and one could deliver from 6 up to 10 classes per day. The position is for one term initially and renewable depending on the performance. We offer excellent salary, by local standards, which would amount to 1000 – 1400 Bosnian Mark (BAM) per month. Teachers are responsible for paying for their own accommodation but we can assist in finding suitable place.

What we do:
“SEAL” is a Foreign Languages education Centre established in 1998. Currently we run four schools in different locations throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and one in Novi Sad, Serbia. We offer courses of different levels for English, German, Italian and French. Twice a year we take groups of our students to countries where English is native or official language in use to add to the learning experience and improve their language skills. All our schools are well equipped with CD players in all classrooms, DVD facilities, internet access and various other types of teaching aid and meet the highest standards. Classes generally have between 6 to 12 students, which creates a friendly and relaxed working atmosphere.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit basically introduced us to teaching equipment and teaching aids that may be available to us. This unit was quite straight forward but it was interesting to see how technology has evolved the classroom. Having once been taught other languages in high school with cassette tapes it is interesting to understand the procedure from the teacher's perspective. Once again a lot of source material was provided.unit 10 went over 2 video lessons the first lesson showed the teacher teaching in a very boring fast paste lesson with no regards of the students knowledge on the subject.which in return made the students uncomfortable of their abilities. the second video lesson was a completely different from the first. the teacher was more outgoing, explained the lesson with great examples and helped the students accordingly.
