Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

There is one important task that I founded in this Unit... how to make the balance between the teacher ideas, arrangements, control and the aspects that are more helpful for the students during the process of learning the language. Some difficulties arise when the students' English level is very low and it's a challenge to be able to get to their levels and speak simply and clearly to them. This unit taught what makes a good teacher and the different roles that a teacher plays in the class. It also taught what makes a good learner and the different stages that learners may be in in their education of learning English. It further explains what motivates a student to learn English. This unit taught me that as a teacher I will need to know when to play each role in the classroom.
