Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This a fairly difficult and complex unit. I learn't about the different types of conditionals, how to apply them in a sentence, and the corrrect form of usage. The examples were very helpful in clarifying exactly what the unit was teaching. The ideas of how to teach them were very good, and I will use them to assist my learning plans. The table of direct-to-reported speech was helpful in simplifying the tenses.Receptive skills are the building blocks of productive skills. Krashen shows us how important it is to allow for the receptive skills to be developed well first before forcing too much productivity. Ultimately, we need to be able to evaluate the comprehension levels of our students. Yet, I find allowing for some room to have a \"Silent Period\" is quite helpful especially when learning a new set of skills or ideas.
