Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this course unit 9, i have learnt a lot especially to do with lesson planning.i have understood that including anticipated problems for both teachers and students is also important. I have also understood some of the principles to be followed when lesson planning such as ; keeping it simple, keeping it flexible and others i have also learnt that its important to include teacher -student centered method of teaching in all phasesAs a native English speaker, I find it odd and interesting that mouth diagrams, the international phonemic alphabet and the science of pronouncing words where rarely taught in public schools so why is this being used for ESL students? We simply learned by listening to the teacher pronounce the words and speaking with our peers. I learned that this method is also used in learning any foreign language which I did not find too useful.
