Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

By studying Unit 13 I realized that I normally practise the three areas of English phonology, but I found extremely useful to review the standards. I am confident that I will be in a position to teach this subject even though it is quite tough for students (and teachers!). The study in deep of the three areas: stress, rhythm, intonation as well as the International Phonetic System have given me a good deal of help. This unit provided a more hands on, real world approach to demonstrating effective teaching versus ineffective teaching. The two videos were informative and adequately demonstrated this difference. It generally exemplified how a teacher's attitude can make or break the students' experiences, and how patience and genuinely caring about the students' interest will result in a better experience for everybody involved.
