From this unit, I gained information on the different groups of students and how to accommodate students' learning needs based on age, experience/expertise, or needs. I also learned more about a particular I did not have prior experience with, business students. It was informative to know that I don't necessarily need an extensive knowledge of business in order to teach English.The unit give a brief overview of present tenses (Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous) used in the English language. It focuses on the way present tenses are formed (affirmative and negative forms, as well as questions), their common usages, typical students' mistakes and activities that could help practice present tense structures.
