This unit was overall very helpful with teaching me how to work with the textbook. The boomerang style ESA was a little confusing considering we didn't go over it in this unit. Luckily i used my memory and was able to get what i feel is the best answers submitted. I feel it would be more helpful if you went over the ESA again as a reminder in each unit if its going to be on the test.This unit is useful because it separates what is useful and not useful for teaching vocabulary, grammar structure and language function when teaching English as a second language. I particularly appreciated the acknowledgement that deciding what vocabulary to teach is open to interpretation. Logically, this makes sense, as vocabulary prioritization can be dependent on many factors.
