Ask Linda! How To Pronounce: "Futile"

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In this unit, we focused on the productive skills: speaking and writing. Both have a common purpose, to communicate something; Therefore, teachers need to create the desire in the students to communicate. To do this, teachers need to have in mind students? interests, culture and previous knowledge to create activities that appeals them so they want to participate in class. This unit has provided me with the knowledge of ways to deliver lessons which meets the needs of all students. It also provides me as a teacher of the best way to plan and deliver lessons which includes a balanced lesson covering all aspects of learning. I hope having more opportunity to think about the ESA lesson planning is helping me to understand the delivery of this style.
