OTP Demonstration Lesson - Richard - Study Phase - Second Conditional Usages

"In this video, our OTP trainee Richard holds his demonstration lesson about the second conditional. In his study phase, he asks students: If you won the lottery, what would you do? ITTT's Observed Teaching Practice courses (OTP) are ideal for teachers wanting to improve their teaching skills remotely from anywhere in the world."

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

In this lesson I learned about the seven different types of future and present tenses. In this section I got to break down each individual tense with their usages, examples, and forms. I also learned the common mistakes made when using these tenses. I have been taught new ways to keep track of progress. One of these ways was that students keep a journal or diary for daily use.Another pretty straight forward lesson. Again, I was not sure on the specific names of the terms but my knowledge of English grammar allowed me to answer most of the questions without issue. I am curious to know how applicable telling students the different names of verbs rather than just having them practice usage is in class, but I suppose me knowing the names couldn't hurt.
