English Grammar -- Present Perfect -- Usage --

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit discusses the testing and evaluating methods . It is appropriate to give tests at different stages of the course. Tests are classified according to the stage of the course: replacement tests, diagnostic tests, progress tests and practice tests. Finally, it discusses the external examinations: general English ( KET, PET, FCE,CAE,CPE), skills of life (ESOL), business English(This lecture focused on the present tenses such as Present Simple, Present Continuous, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Continuous. I am actually well aware of the use of each of these tenses but it was a good revision of the material an a great practice to refresh my memory. Overall though the material was well written, concise grammatical structures, easy to read and understand.
