English Grammar -- Present Perfect -- Teaching Ideas 3 -- Teaching Abroad Salaries

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit looked to provide a framework around how the appropriate use the present tense. I found the use of adding in formulas on how to structure sentences very helpful to understand the use of the particular present tense. The use of formulas is succinct way to communicate to the student how to breakdown each sentence and ensure they get the word order and the conjugation correct.I've learned through this specific unit or lesson, that productive skills such as speaking and writing are just as important as receptive skills such as listening and reading. The unit's information on accuracy and fluency skills and how to develop and improve them were very interesting. It is very interesting that one must have all these skills in order to be fluent in the language.
