Should I take a TEFL course online or in a classroom?

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit helped me understand how to better run a classroom. It's important for us as teachers to understand when and why tô use different teaching styles and methods. Teacher talk time should always be kept to a minimum and only used when necessary. We don't want to dominate the classroom all the time. The students should always feel welcomed, seen, included and comfortable. This unit teaches basic skills of language that is receptive skills that includes reading and listening. As shown in the unit there are different reasons for reading and listening and As a teacher we have to be very careful to select our topics which teaching student's and engage student's in such a way that they get interest in reading and listening as both are equally important
