Do TEFL Teachers Need a Second Language?

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching. This convenient, highly structured design means that you can quickly get to grips with each section before moving onto the next.

This unit was a little bit more difficult, considering all the resemblances that the future tenses shared between 2 or more tenses. Although that may be the case, all of tenses including the following: present, past, and future grammar procedures have very similar usages. This makes the information easier to digest and teach, because I have a method of explaining the differences. In this unit, I learned how to identify the conditional used in each sentence. Such as, a first conditional is used when the sentence structure is if + present simple, will. A second conditional is used when the sentence structure is if + past simple, could/would/might + base form. And a zero conditional is used when a sentence structure is if/when + present tense, present tense.
