Difficulties of English Pronunciation in Vietnam
Once I arrived in Vietnam to teach the English language, I realized that poor pronunciation is common in Vietnamese students as well as teachers. These mistakes are similar, as it was obvious the Vietnamese teachers passed them to the students. In this essay, I am going to deliberate on the causes of the problem and suggest a few solutions.

How to Solve Common Problems for English Learners in Vietnam
The Vietnamese learners of English share with those of other nationalities almost every difficulty in learning English. However, there are several issues in learning English that can be viewed as particularly perceived in the classrooms in Vietnam. Those particular issues may have originated from the country's specific culture and language. It might be useful to point out several typical difficulties and their causes, and propose a couple of techniques for an EFL teacher to tackle them. Below are two groups of difficulties, one is psychological, the other is more or less physical. Although they are very common in Vietnam, those issues are by no means unique to that country... My Vietnamese Experience: Challenges for English Learners in Vietnam
I have traveled throughout Asia for some forty-five years, Vietnam is now my home. I always found the younger generations had a thirst for knowledge, particularly English as a second language. The difficulties of acquiring the knowledge under what was a repressive regime have diminished somewhat, but the major stumbling blocks to acquiring good English are the lack of experienced Vietnamese teachers, interaction with English natural speakers, and knowledge of the outside world in general.

The 3 Problems For English Learners in Vietnam
With the Gross Domestic Product growing at the rate of about 6.88% per year, Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing economies in Southeast Asia, as well as the world. The increase in disposable income has made extra language sessions outside of school much more accessible to middle- and lower-class families. Similar to other Asian countries, exposure to western cultures through the internet has made English the most desirable language to learn in Vietnam.

Have young English learners in other countries faced the same problems as those who are in Vietnam? Some may appear alike but the others may occur differently. Personally, each individual may engage in varied private troubles. On a small scale of this little essay, it is advised to discuss three main objective factors that the majority of young learners may encounter. They are passive learning style, less communication practice yet heavy-grammar structure, and attitude towards education.

With a population of over 7 million people, HCMC is Vietnam’s largest city as well as its economic, industrial and financial centre. However, despite its large size and continued development, the city still retains much of its culture and traditions, where city life takes places on the streets in cafes, markets, stalls, shops and many waterside venues. Although recent history has taken its toll on Vietnam, there is an abundance of things to see and do here. Ben Thanh Market is the largest in the city and is a great place to pick up... [Read more]

People around the world are choosing to learn the English language for several reasons. Across the globe, English has become one of the languages people are taught in order to succeed in their career endeavors or simply a basic skill to have. It has grown so much in popularity and necessity that it has become a requirement for many children in schools across the globe. When in doubt, I can try using my native tongue and more often than not someone is able to respond in a language in which I am comfortable communicating. However, many challenges accompany...
