Teaching abroad is an exciting and enriching opportunity for anyone, but as an LGBT individual, there are additional challenges and considerations to keep in mind. Moving to a new country means adjusting to a different culture and navigating questions about discrimination, safety, coming out, and handling public displays of affection. While there has been significant progress in LGBT rights globally, including the legalization of same-sex marriage in more countries, there is still work to be done. Therefore, finding a place to teach abroad that is accepting and welcoming to the LGBT community becomes crucial.

We're going to go over different countries on different continents and what their hiring seasons are, so when's the best time to go job hunting. Also there will be some tips for job hunting in those places as sometimes you need to get hired in advance when you're still in your home country and you can do online interviews, but in some countries you need to apply in person.
