Sharing Personal Teaching Experience
Since time immemorial teaching and learning have been the most effective developments of humanity, be it morally, socially, spiritually or intellectually. In my opinion, the fundamentals of teaching are solely based on the educator's ability to administer learning in such ways that are innovative and creative to the learner's potential to grasp concepts. Thus, this essay will discuss my personal teaching experiences in the classroom with young and middle-aged learners in a large classroom using a pragmatic approach.

TEFL Course as a Part of Professional Development
Teaching English as a foreign language for the first time is not as easy as it may seem. A TEFL course is an important precursor for anyone interested in teaching English professionally because it provides the necessary tools, techniques, and guidelines that will make the teaching experience as successful as possible for both the teacher and the students. A TEFL course provides prospective English teachers with essential information regarding lesson structure (ESA), grammar fundamentals, class size dynamics, class material information and many other lessons that prepare the teacher for the role.

How I Changed Careers From Being a Nurse to Teaching English in China
I might not have realized it before since I was busy studying and just trying to achieve my short term goals but I believe that my mother has been an inspiration for me to become a teacher. I could remember seeing kids at home being taught by my mom and she used pictures to identify certain shapes and animals. My mom was a regular housewife then. She taught only for fun and to make my brother and I be more engaged in learning things with the company of our friends, our playmates.

The Problem of Mixed-Ability ESL Classrooms in TEFL Teaching
It's almost impossible to avoid the situation where all students will be at the same level. Different people have different learning curves. Most of the schools have a level testing procedure, but, despite this fact, within one classroom, we can meet fast learners and slow learners. A good teacher should know how to work with any type of student. So, in my essay, I'm going to discuss how to teach mixed-ability classes.

In everyone's life, there is at least one person that can be called a teacher, and it doesn't matter who is it — our older neighbor living next door or the person standing at the blackboard in a classroom for hours and trying to give you a piece of knowledge in some way. How Seating Arrangement Influences Learning
From both my experiences as well as what I have learned from this course, I believe seating arrangement in the classroom is very important. I remember always remember one teacher in college because her class stuck out from all of the others. In her greek history class, we were forced to place our desks into the form of a circle a vast majority of the time. She warned us from the first day of her class that this would be a class far different from the normal teaching style. She told us that this style would help ensure we stay engaged, listen to others as well as her and would help to keep us accountable for our previous reading assignments.

Teaching different subjects requires different approaches to it, so does teaching languages, particularly teaching foreign languages. A learner's mother tongue has a profound influence on verbalization of the second language. The absence of some sounds in the learner's first language, and the difference in intonation, word, and syllable stress between the learner's native language and English are some of the many factors that often lead to an incorrect pronunciation of English words. In order to address these issues, a teacher needs to have a basic understanding of the student's native language. One of the most important problems encountered while learning a foreign language is undoubtedly pronunciation. Knowing a language fluently may not always be enough. Fluency level may be open to discussion if an accurate pronunciation is not used. Therefore as teachers, we must teach our students how to use the correct pronunciation. Utilizing our 5 senses and past experiences to make sense of what is going on, we can ascertain new concepts and make proper use of them in our daily lives. However, as a teacher, we are tasked with transmitting abstract concepts that become difficult to fully grasp through traditional methods. As demand is high, there often is a compromise on the quality of the teachers. Working with young children requires specific skill sets that often can be taught but must also come naturally.
