Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit covers a number of ways to assess a student's language level by using tutorials, evaluation by students and tests. Each of these assessment tools goes into more depth explaining what the purpose and the aim from these results. From this unit, I have learnt the importance of evaluating the students English and I can identify the different types of testing and evaluation tools and explain the purpose of its use. This unit described the importance of lesson planning and also provided a sample lesson plan on a specific topic. I personally like a lesson plan in the classroom since it's a great guide for me to teach my lessons especially when I'm focusing on my content objectives and language objectives. I think it's also important to always include the focus skill that you want your students to learn included in the lesson plan.
