We have regular opportunities in Haiphong for TEFL certified teachers, both in public schools and English centres. Working hours: 20 teaching hours per week following the time table/teaching schedule arranged by Sunrise Vietnam for six days per week. Salary and other benefits will be negotiated at interview. 

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• Education and training back ground or specialized study of these subjects are preferred.

• CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL certification (Online is accepted).

• Native level speakers of English.

• Love to work with Kids from 6 – 13 years old or up to 18 years old.

• Very enthusiastic, energetic and diligent. Goal-driven. Highly self-motivated & motivate others.

• Expert in presentation and strong capability to influent & inspiring people;

• High teamwork spirit;

• Effective oral & written communications with colleagues & partners;

• Ability to work under pressure & changing environment.

• Teaching Demo video is required for all levels.

This unit is very complete and longer than the past ones. For me, it has been the one I have learned the most from because of it´s complexity. Everything is very well explained but at the same time there is a lot of information to retain. In this unit is where you really see how lesson plans work, and how they are adapted to the students necessities and the teaching necessities aswell.Since covering and reading through this unit, I now know the difference between authentic and created teaching materials and how and when to implement each into my future lessons. I also better understand the boomerang style of teaching and the different steps to engaging, activating, and studying language in this system. I will use these gained skills to better my teaching in the future.
