Opportunity For TEFL Certified Teachers in Vietnam

Date posted:2011-08-11 | Writer: Shelton English Training Centre | Email: [email protected]

Initially starting business in Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, Shelton English Training Centre has been expanding into other Northern provinces of Vietnam over the past 13 years. We require experienced native English speaking TEFL teachers to teach students of all ages from primary to adult 18-20 hours per week within our up-coming project in Halong and Hai Phong city starting in September. We offer a highly competitive financial and benefits package to teachers, which is based on qualifications and experience. We have a deep and enduring passion for improving education standards in Vietnam, and as a result we work very hard to provide some of the best deals in 2 of our 3 regions. We aim to convince ESL teachers to give us a good service by protecting and providing them with better conditions. However in return for our sincere and erstwhile effort, we expect our teachers to commit to not reproducing the backpacker-effort that occurs elsewhere.

Hai Phong and Ha long have communities of 15 – 50 westerners and limited sources of entertainment. Ha Long is beautiful, Hai Phong has more facilities, but you should also have hobbies and plans for dealing with a limited social life.

Interested candidates are kindly invited to send your CV, scanned copies of a recent photo, qualifications, your passport, and any health/police reports to the email address given on the job heading before August 20th 2011.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The material in this unit was slightly more difficult than the other units that explain sentence tenses. With the addition of the “going to” future tense felt as if there are 12 tenses instead of 12. I mainly learn that I do not speak in these future tenses as often as I thought I did as a natural English speaker. Reviewing this unit has helped with understanding this material more thoroughly. After learning in this unit, I got how to draw the lesson plan that includes the goal that what the students are supposed to learn and how to goal will be reach include the method and procedure. I felt lesson planning is important because it helps teachers ensure that day-to-day activities that go on their classroom are providing students with an adequate level and long term progress toward the goals.
