American Academy is looking for dynamic EFL teachers to work at various campuses across Vietnam. American Academy (formerly Cleverlearn) has been a leader in EFL education in Vietnam for ten years. At 16 centers across Vietnam, we offer engaging courses designed for all ages and abilities. Our learning methodology combines classroom exercises with active self-practice and review to produce tangible results in language acquisition. AMA offers its teachers top-notch classroom facilities and materials as well as the opportunity to work and grow in a professional environment alongside our students. Positions available year-round in Ho Chi Minh, Ha Noi, Vinh, Da Lat, Phu Yen, Da Nang, Hue, Quang Nam, Vung Tau, Can Tho, and Binh Duong.

Compensation:

Teachers are paid at an hourly rate of $14 - $17 USD NET, based on qualifications and experience.

Requirements:

TESOL/CELTA/TEFL is required. Online TEFL is accepted. Teachers with a 4-year degree strongly preferred. Must be a native level English speaker, or near-native fluency.

This unit offers a complete overview of equipments and aids a teacher can use to better work with his or her students. In my opinion the most important piece of information for an unexperienced teacher is the whole list of online sources available. It is often too difficult to evaluate which source is better than another one, so to have a guide like the one presented in the unit is extraordinary.This unit was about the different class types we may encounter, including multilingual classes, business English classes, and one-on-one lessons. These different class-types are important because we can't teach the same way for every single classroom - there needs to be variety, and this lesson prepared us as teachers to be able to vary our teaching styles and suit them to different class types.
