English as a second Language Academy is seeking TEFL / TESOL qualified applicants to teach in Honolulu, Hawaii. These are full time positions starting in March of this year. Duties include, but are not limited to, management, teaching, planning curriculum and to assist in reaching all company goals Experience is not necessary.
Qualification: M.A. or B.A. from an accredited College/University in English, ESL or in an applied subject

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I have learnt most of the tenses and ideas used with future meanings. The difference between their usages and typical errors and mistakes that students could make. A lot of helpful examples of activities, games and exercises were given too. Also suggestion of teaching very similar tenses like present continuous and to be going + infinitive was given so the students could get the difference easier.This section has given me a lot more ideas on how exactly to structure my lessons. I had already come across 'patchwork' lessons in my teaching but page 10 clearly defined it for me. I will incorporate some of the examples like the word search into my lessons in the future. I also agree that praising a student is equally as important as correcting them or else they will introvert and be afraid of trying again.
