Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit goes over the various ways in which a teacher can test their students in order to gain an understanding of their proficiency in English. This information will allow for the teacher to help students on an individual basis and structure their course in a way that is geared towards developing the students' weaknesses. The language proficiency tests used around the world were also described at the end of the unit.Another teaching receptive skills are speaking and writing. this is also important in learning a new language. I learnt that we should engage students and motivate them more to see the output specially in speaking. Accuracy is usually a part of study phase. fluency is usually used in active phase. Teachers must have a control in the classroom specially in game time. there are many kinds of warmer games and active games.
