Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit teaches the present tense in its four forms: the present simple, the present continuous, the present perfect, and the present perfect continuous. It explains their formation and uses. It also gives examples of activities appropriate for each tense for the activate phase. Moreover this unit addresses common student errors and mistakes as well as the methodology for their correction. In this unit, I learned about the parts of a sentence and their correct grammar usage. One of the things I learned in detail was transitive versus intransitive verbs.Because I grew up in America, I am accustomed to speaking English without having to think about the proper way to use words in a sentence. Reading this unit helped me see why studying English may be a struggle for some students.
