Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit was pretty simple after completing the present tenses unit. I think it's very useful that TEFL-students have to complete many exercises. Getting it (I mean: understanding) is one thing, but using the tenses over and over really prints them in your head. Which is needed to explain it to the English students. As is stated in the course, I hardly use the past perfect continuous - but still, feels good to know how it's formed. In this unit I learned about Books and Materials. Materials are divided into two groups, authentic materials(usually not designated to beginner students) and created materials(usually designed by the teacher as a suplement materials). We also learned about a set of important materials or course books(the advantages and disavantages) and useful published materials such as test books, learner dictionaries, vocabulary flash cards, etc.
