Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The unit talks about past tenses which comprises of past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous tenses. In addition, it teaches the usage of each past tense and mistakes or errors students make using it. I have learnt the examples that comes with the activate stage of all the various past tenses. Finally I have learnt the system structure of the past tenses.During this unit, I learned about different techniques of teaching vocabulary , language structures , and language functions. In the case of vocabulary, there are different patterns of teaching. For example, pictures of household can be shown by the teacher in the engage stage, whereas, in the study stage, filling the gaps could be used to make students familiarize with the new words.
