Phonology and phonetics were my most favourite classes during my English studies. I could have listened to my teacher for hours who pronounced the words so clearly and perfectly. Me and my fellow students often used to step our feet to emphasise an appropriate stress. Thanks to those classes I am sensitive to the right intonation, rythm and stress. Therefore, I try to inspire my students and improve their pronounciation.This unit gave me the knowledge of the most important roles of a teacher. It also gave a good overview of what kind of characteristics the good learners should possess. The Language levels and certifications were accordingly explained. Another interesting thing was the difference between the age of the learners.
The most important thing I had learned from this lesson is the relationship between a teacher and a student.
