Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have never seen or heard of the international phonetic symbols before, so this was an incredibly interesting unit for me. With questions 16 through 20, I found myself understanding the symbols a lot better than I thought I would. It started out to be pretty intimidating, but once I got the hang of it, it felt a lot easier. I think I will need quite a bit more practice with this though. This unit was a very good image of an effective and ineffective lesson delivery. It is very good for teachers to see how their delivery and attitude plays a major role in the success of a lesson. It also gives insight into the strategies that are effective in teaching language. The teacher in lesson two serves as a good model and should inspire teachers to work on their teaching methods.
