Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This Unit 1 primarily focused on the different roles that the teacher plays, as well as the function and appropriate time to use each of these roles. Additionally, we also identified the different kinds of learners and how to gage where the learners language skills are and the different was we can effectively teach these learners by ways of motivating, listening, engaging, and these sorts. This unit involved the parts of speech that involve conditionals and reported speech. These parts of speech come in handy for students when they want to describe conversations and events to others (co-workers, friends etc.) These parts of speech can be tricky for non-english speakers to learn because they involve possibilities and sentences that are not direct. Mistakes can easily be made.
