Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I found this unit on Lesson planning to be trickier than expected, putting the correct order of the straight arrow ESA lesson on the subject of the present perfect tense was quite difficult as having no teacher experience I might have learnt the hard way and might have taught in a slight different order. However, I have found this unit to be very informative in putting together a lesson plan. This unit was the most useful for me so far. It gave a skeletal structure to language lessons that I can recognize from previous Japanese classes. Comparing my teacher's practices to what is taught in this unit has helped me see the value in simple classroom conversations and appreciate the careful timing of corrections. This was a clear and more advanced step in the lesson that I appreciate.
