Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit XVII, the final grammar unit, taught the uses of modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice. This unit was very difficult for me as I have not been taught these grammar uses in school, nor really acknowledge the use of them in ordinary language until this unit. After doing this quiz I realize that I definitely need to look more into these grammar tools in order to have adequate knowledge to teach them to non-native english speakers. The videos provided excellent examples of both do's and dont's. The mistakes made by the teacher were fairly easily identified and the students responded with fear and apprehension most of the time. It was clear during the second video that the rapport was well established, and that the teacher was very encouraging and not intimidating of the students. The transition between phases was natural and good planning was evident throughout.
