Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit three examined current theoretical practices for teaching a language to non-native speakers, and briefly discussed the pros and cons of each practice. From there the unit broke down typical teaching styles, with examples and suggestions included, for the benefit of assisting a teacher to discover her/his preferred method of teaching, as well as provide a framework to work off of.This unit focused on common problem situations and I gained knowledge on how to teach first lessons. I understood what warmers are and how to plan lessons with students of different levels. I also gained knowledge on teaching large classes, reluctant students and when to use the students` native language. I have also gained knowledge on difficulties students face with listening texts.
