It is important to remember, specifically with adults, that just because they may be struggling with the nuances and minutiae of a new language, they are attempting something that is likely difficult and possibly embarrassing. Respect for them as people first will go a long way towards giving them the confidence that they need to continue to learn and even make mistakes, which is an important part of the learning process.Unit one was an introductory unit which helped to plot what the course would contain. Furthermore, Unit One espoused the merits of the course's completion and increased my understanding by giving me a page long glossary of terms and giving me an optimum study plan. There were many more types of English teaching than I had ever imagined! I will follow the suggestion and complete one unit a day in order to pass this course.
