Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I feel again that I have learnt some new things-for example the transitive and intransitive verbs. Though I have been teaching for a long time I might not have pointed this part of grammar to my students the way it was explained here. I feel that in the future I will put more emphasis on this topic-or explain it in the way I have learnt from this unit. The task sheet of this unit I have found extremely useful. This lesson was a break down of what vocabulary and grammar consists of. The lesson gave us a typical lesson plan and then an example; examples always help. Teaching ideas for vocabulary include many short and game like activities. For grammar, role-playing, discussions, and debates are suggested as students are prompted to talk and practice building sentences. It also helps the teacher evaluate their progress.
