Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Unit 3 covered the was to develop courses for young learners. As well as getting the correct placement for students based on ability over a range of areas. It covered the assessment of students using six different styles of tests. The development of a syllabus and scheduling of progress test. Also covered were the three levels of the CYLE ( starters, movers, and flyers), KET, and PET tests. This unit taught me the ways to properly teach productive skills like reading and writing. These are important skills to clearly teach as they are the backbones of the learning of a language. As well, this unit gave me plenty of examples discussing possible games and scnerios that can be used in the classroom to help change it up and provide a new way for students to engage in the material.
