EFL Teachers who enjoy working with children required to work on
Intensive English and Sports Course for Spanish children, aged
between 5 and 18, in Zaragoza, North East Spain, in July (start 19th June)and August (start 17th July) 2010.Contracts are usually for 4 weeks but 2, 6 or 8-week contracts are also available. Most staff are
required between 19th June to 16th July so availability for these
dates is an advantage.Typical positions are full-time from Monday to Friday with weekends free. The course is essentially non-residential so Teachers are accommodated in shared apartments in the city centre and are taken by bus to the school each day, although some residential positions are available on the peak dates. Zaragoza is a buzzing, cosmopolitan city with an international airport. Positions are also available on this course for Sports Teachers for typical English games and outdoor pursuits including water sports.

Teachers should have degree-level education. TEFL qualifications
and/or experience are a clear advantage as work is intensive. Sports staff should also hold approprite qualifications and experience.
Since the jobs involves teaching children from 5 to 18 years of
age in the classroom, we have found over the years that Primary School Teachers and PGCE graduates, interested in the challenge of working with Spanish children, are also well suited to these positions.
Sports Instructors whose native tongue is English will teach sports, games, outdoor pursuits and possibly water sports such as canoeing so life saving certificates could be an advantage.
Successful applicants will be required to attend one of the Presentation and Interview Sessions to be held in March and April in Belfast, Dublin, Edinburgh, Manchester and Zaragoza.

Basic salaries are from 900€ to 1200€, depending on qualifications and experience, for the 4-week contract and appraisal bonuses are also awarded. Travel and accommodation expenses are not covered by the company.(There are direct flights from London Stansted to Zaragoza with Ryanair.)

Contact us at the e-mail address given on the job heading for further information and to apply.

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit I read about different ways of evaluating students' levels and progress, as well as some of the common external exams that I may need to prepare my students for in the near future. I was already aware of placement tests, as I've given many of these to students prior to them starting a course. The other types of test I have read about are: progressive tests, diagnostic tests, and practice test.Learning receptive skills was interesting and using new ideas and similiar teaching ideas for students to learn how to read and listen correctly would be essential in learning the language as a whole. depend on the age group of class or nationality your material would vary, understanding that being able to listen to the language correctly would prove significant in being fluent and interacting comfortably.
