Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The unit share the various themes or tools that one could use while teaching English for business purposes - like case studies and games. It also gives us an understanding of some methodologies like frameworking and speech act theory that can be used as a tool to teach the subject more effectively. The sample lessons were most useful as this helped put all the tools and methodologies in perspective.This unit focused primarily on the topics of modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. The information provided on this topic was helpful, but as stated in the chapter, is by no means exhaustive. This unit helped me to further understand usage and formation of the passive versus the active voice in particularly with both examples and the diagram given as a quick reference to formative methods.
