Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

In this unit, I learned the different kinds of teaching methodologies based on a historical viewpoint. Every method has its good points and weaknesses, I should value all the benefits and try them in certain lessons which with different aims. More importantly, I've learned ESA methodology in a thorough way, and I think my class will be more effective if I can apply the ESA flexibly in my lessons. This unit helped me to refresh the previous lesson on the present and past tenses combined with conditionals and modals in sentences. This can help me in checking the correct form of a sentence especially in teaching students not just in writing but also in sentence construction. Also we have to be analytical in reported speech especially when the pronoun referring to someone or something changes.
