It is always complicated choose an appropriate book for the particular group of students. That is why using authentic and creative material is a good way. Using authentic matirial is better for students with higher level of English. Creative material is good for every level? as the teacher can vary and prepare material for the group taking into consideration student's level and needs. This unit provides a brief overview of the two receptive styles, listening and reading. Although different, both styles must be taught similarly, in that material must be carefully selected to fit students' interests and skill levels. Difficult vocabulary and expressions should be taught beforehand. The unit also provides examples of how such a lesson could fit into the ESA framework.
