Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Receptive skills, productive skills, speaking and writing are all equally important. Hence, teachers should always consider each and every skill in every lesson. Teachers should always be flexible, (attitude wise and with the topics to be given to students) because as we know, students are all unique in their own little ways. Therefore, teachers should engage everyone by giving varieties of topics. This unit talks about classroom managment, tips on public speaking, giving instructions and problem behavior. In my opinion a teacher must be a leader and inspire confidence in the students, having a friendly, relaxed manner and maintaining discipline. I believe that in this unit I learned how to give instructions, how to establish rapport, about respond to problem behavior and grouping students.
