Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

The unit covers part of English grammar that can be past, present and future but distinguished by the use of conditions “if” and “when”. The verb tenses and pronouns change for reported speech change to denote who is being spoken to and this depend on the context, some events appear to have taken the past time known as back shifting; this and here change to that and there.Of the many kinds of classroom environments, I will most likely be required to work with younger children. However, because of Japan's growing business economy, I may work for companies as well. As such, this unit's overview of the differences and expectations I can have for these environments will be invaluable. I will keep in mind the differing motivations and attention spans of each group.
