Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

I have learnt that there are many different methods and ways of teaching and although some methods are not used as often as others, it is important to note that students learn differently. One method that may work for one student, may not be coherent with another. It is important not to interrupt students but to let them finish what they are saying and to provide constructive feedback in a supportive environment.Tense styles are always a nightmare for English learners. But fortunately, I have had a thorough knowledge of past tenses from this unit. There are four styles of past tenses; past simple, past continuous, past perfect, past perfect continuous. And each style has it's from, usage and common student mistakes. A clear knowledge of the tenses of a teacher can lead to a good result of student’s grammar learning.
