This unit was great, especially after just focusing on receptive skills. Learning about productive skill after the previous unit really helped compliment my understanding of what was in this unit. All the different factors and ways to teach and learn is really great to know. Having the understanding of what is important and why is crucial to the learning ability for both student alone, and for the entire class while in session.I have learned that there are many ways of teaching. my opinion on teaching is that you need to know the students and their ability to learn. if one method of teaching does not work, then a teacher must try a different method. I have learned that learning a foreign language is faster if the student lives in the country of which they are learning the language. being exposed to the language on a daily basis one will learn faster.
