Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

This unit summarized the most common troubles a teacher may encounter starting with the difference between a new and existing group, especially during the first lesson; the how and why behind activities to establish rapport and warmer activities; working with mixed-ability groups and large classes; dealing with the use of the native language by students and developing the students' listening skills. What a difficult unit. These Phrasal verbs and passive and active voices can be difficult to understand, and on top of that to teach. I am an English speaker and am so glad I grew up with this language because learning it would be a process. I give smooch credit to those learning it and I hope to help the leaning process of my students to be fun and give them a safe comfortable learning environment.
