We want TEFL qualified teachers to join our tutoring centre and help children all the way from intermediate to university entrance. We are looking for someone to work part time in our central Auckland centre or North Shore centre teaching intermediate / secondary English on weekdays after school or Saturdays. We provide you with teaching materials for teaching in class. You are also required to do marking on students' homework. Please email your C.V. to the e-mail address given on the job heading Salary commensurate with experience & qualification

Below you can read feedback from an ITTT graduate regarding one section of their online TEFL certification course. Each of our online courses is broken down into concise units that focus on specific areas of English language teaching.

Using past tenses seems like an irrelevant subject to teach in any language, if the topic is to is about learning a language. I'm sure there must be something important about having to learn and or teach about the past present and future tenses but I still haven't seen it yet. People who study tenses should study in depth and then when they're teaching it, explain to the student why it is important.Unit 19 discussed special groups, drawing on previous units for revision and further expansion. The groups of Beginners, Individuals, Young & Adult, Business, Multi & Mono Lingual. The material provided good descriptions and advice on Do's and Don'ts etc. It also gave me information and background that will help decide on the groups I will target when entering the TEFL industry. Thanks, Ian Wansbury.
